Welcome to KBA!

The Kentucky Bluegrass Award is our statewide student-choice reading program. All Kentucky schools and libraries are encouraged to participate in this endeavor to promote quality literature and recreational reading among all of our PreK-12th grade students.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Kentucky Bluegrass Award is to annually provide five age-appropriate book lists for the students of the state to read and vote for their favorite. Each KBA master list contains a well rounded list of books made up of quality, diverse and high-interest titles.

KBA Voting is NOW LIVE!!  Remember that voting ends on April 1!
